Responsibilities

As a CNA or caregiver with FirstLight Home Care, you will:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Support individuals with dementia or memory challenges
• Provide medication reminders and observe for changes in condition
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Assist with transfers and mobility using safe techniques
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate updates to the care team
• Respect client dignity, privacy, and resident rights at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow HIPAA standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CNA certification
• Experience in home care, hospice, assisted living, or skilled nursing
• Experience providing dementia or memory care
• Previous caregiving experience with seniors or Veterans
