Reporting to the Director of the Engaged Learning Office, the Immersive Learning Programs Manager oversees a diverse portfolio of off-campus and global initiatives. Programs include domestic immersive programs, traditional study abroad, global community-based learning, faculty-led programs, and international project-based learning.
You will develop and facilitate advising, communications, and programming that connect students to a comprehensive spectrum of global pathways. This includes managing immersive student experiences at UM and preparing them for prestigious postgraduate milestones such as the Fulbright Program and other global fellowships. You will also cultivate relationships with global vendors, partner institutions, and community contacts, while collaborating with School of Information faculty and campus-wide global education partners.

This is a hybrid position. You will coordinate your schedule with your supervisor in accordance with school policy. You may be required to travel to multiple locations on and off campus. The main office workspace for this position is located in the Leinweber Computer Science and Information building on North Campus. Punctual and regular attendance is required. You will be required to work during non-business hours and on weekends based on the requirements for your position.

Salary Information
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $73,000. Salary is determined by direct relevant experience and demonstrated past performance results while ensuring equity on our team. While rare, we may offer a salary above the posted range for an exceptionally qualified candidate, considering internal equity and budget. All candidates are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor alignment and transparency throughout the recruiting process.
This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the University Staff United (USU), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
