Datadog is seeking a Program Lead to drive the strategy and execution of our immigration and mobility programs across the Americas. In this role, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives spanning immigration case strategy, relocation support, compliance, and internal mobility. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across People, Legal, Recruiting, Payroll, and external partners to ensure a seamless, scalable, and employee-focused experience. This is a unique opportunity to shape Datadog's approach to talent movement while enhancing program infrastructure as we continue to scale globally.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the strategic direction and execution of immigration and mobility programs across the Americas, aligned with global People strategy and business priorities
  • Own end-to-end immigration processes for the region, including visa case strategy, annual H-1B planning, renewals, and work authorization compliance
  • Manage relationships with external immigration counsel and relocation vendors to ensure consistent, high-quality support
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Recruiting, Legal, PBPs, Payroll, and Tax to advise on immigration sponsorship, relocation eligibility, and regulatory changes
  • Develop program documentation, dashboards, and reporting to evaluate employee experience, operational effectiveness, and business impact
  • Identify opportunities to automate and scale core processes in Workday and other People systems

Who You Are:

  • You have 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years owning or managing immigration and mobility programs
  • You bring deep expertise in U.S. immigration processes (H-1B, F-1, TN, E-3, O-1, J-1, Green Card) and relocation compliance
  • You've led cross-functional projects and partnered effectively with Legal, Payroll, Finance, and executive stakeholders
  • You are highly organized and analytical, with a track record of using data to drive decision-making and program optimization
  • You have experience managing vendors and navigating tax, equity, and compliance implications of international assignments
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Generous and competitive benefits package
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities
  • Employee-focused best in class onboarding
  • Internal mentor and cross-departmental buddy program
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
