Immigration Associate Attorney (Mandarin Speaking)

Location: Brooklyn & Flushing, NY (Travel between both locations required)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000–$100,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in immigration law and be comfortable alternating between our Brooklyn and Flushing offices. The associate will handle a broad range of immigration matters, with a strong focus on asylum cases before EOIR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in removal proceedings and appear regularly before EOIR
• Consult and advise on complicated family-based petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization applications, waivers (I-601, I-212)
• Be familiar with Special Immigrant Juvenile application and process
• Conduct client consultations and manage assigned cases from intake to completion
• Work closely with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure timely filings
• Maintain up-to-date case notes and communications

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in EOIR
• Admission to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and/or Pennsylvania (New York preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of immigration law experience, with a strong record of EOIR/asylum representation
• Fluency in Mandarin – must be able to read and type Chinese
• Strong legal writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel between Brooklyn and Flushing offices on a regular basis

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
