Immigration Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Client Consultation and Bilingual Support
• Conduct detailed consultations with clients, primarily in Malayalam, to understand their immigration needs, assess eligibility, and explain complex legal requirements clearly.
• Provide expert advice on appropriate visa categories (e.g., Skilled Migration, Study Visas, Family Sponsorship) based on the client's profile and current immigration laws.
• Effectively bridge the language gap, ensuring that Malayalam-speaking clients fully comprehend all documentation, procedures, and legal terms.
• 2. Application Processing and Compliance
• Prepare comprehensive checklists and assist clients in gathering and verifying all required supporting documents.
• Complete and submit visa applications accurately and efficiently to the relevant governmental bodies (e.g., USCIS, IRCC, UKVI, DHA).
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the immigration policies, especially concerning documentation unique to the South context.
• Ensure strict compliance with all local and international immigration regulations and professional standards.
• 3. Case Management and Follow-up
• Manage a portfolio of client cases from initial consultation to final visa decision.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions and application progress in the company CRM/database.
• Liaise with immigration authorities and other external agencies on the client's behalf.

Essential Language & Communication Requirements

• Fluent Proficiency in Malayalam (Speaking, Reading, and Writing): Mandatory. Must be able to conduct professional consultations and handle sensitive discussions entirely in Malayalam.
• Fluent Proficiency in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing): Required for interacting with regulatory bodies, preparing official documents, and internal communication.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport and trust with clients who may be navigating a stressful process, using empathetic and clear communication in Malayalam.
