We are currently seeking a Consultation Attorney to join our growing team. This role is perfect for an attorney who enjoys meaningful client interaction, values collaboration, and wants to help shape strong case strategies from the very first consultation—without sacrificing personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial client consultations (in person and virtual) to evaluate eligibility for immigration benefits and relief
  • Provide clear, compassionate, and accurate legal advice in a supportive and client-focused manner
  • Identify potential immigration options, including:
  • Family-based immigration
  • Asylum and humanitarian relief
  • Waivers
  • EOIR-related matters
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop thoughtful and strategic case recommendations
  • Prepare detailed consultation notes and legal assessments for case files
  • Stay current on immigration law updates and policy changes
  • Assist in training and mentoring law clerks or paralegals as needed

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
  • Florida license preferred but not required
  • 1–2 years of immigration law experience (consultations and/or casework)
  • Strong knowledge of USCIS, EOIR, and federal court procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish
  • Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to client service
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
