Immigration Legal Assistant/ Paralegal

Boutique immigration law firm in Downtown Chicago (Michigan Avenue) is seeking entry level or experienced legal assistants/paralegals. Full time salary position with benefits. Salary dependent on experience. Please submit cover letter explaining interest.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or paralegal certificate required
• Fluent in Spanish, speaking, writing and reading
• Minimum of one-year experience of U.S. immigration law
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must speak English and Spanish fluently

Duties:

• Preparation of filings to US Citizenship & Immigration Service, EOIR, NVC, CEAC, Department of State
• Communicate daily with clients
• Use of Excel, LawLogix, and Word
• Working as part of a team

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
