Implementation Consultant

Job Description

Slimstock is a leader in supply chain optimization solutions. We are seeking a dedicated Consultant to join our team, helping our clients implement and optimize Slimstock's forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management tools. This role will involve working directly with clients to ensure the successful deployment of our solution, Slim4, and drive continuous improvements in their supply chain processes.

Job Summary

The Consultant will implement Slim4, Slimstock's award winning inventory management system, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and with the right quality, according to the customers' requirements. Working closely with clients to configure, deploy, and optimize Slim4, the Consultant will manage the implementation from start to finish while providing ongoing support and contributing to customer success.

Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant with superior analytical and problem solving abilities and a strong background in supply chain optimization. You must have experience managing customer expectations and delivering tailored solutions using Slimstock's systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with clients and internal teams. You will oversee the implementation of Slim4, ensuring it meets client requirements while adhering to budget and timelines, driving long term improvements in inventory management and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Slim4 for clients, ensuring seamless deployment and configuration according to their specific needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for clients, working alongside the support team for system customizations and enhancements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by addressing their needs, advising on best practices, and ensuring that Slim4's capabilities are fully leveraged to optimize inventory and demand planning processes.
  • Deliver training sessions for clients on system functionalities, customizations, and best practices; create and maintain clear documentation for client specific configurations and customizations.
  • Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and coordinate internal resources to ensure that client projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Collect feedback from clients to drive improvements in both the product and the implementation process.
  • Assist the sales team by providing technical expertise in the pre sales process, including product demonstrations and consultations.
Important Competencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL for system customization.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain concepts and ability to apply Slimstock's tools in a variety of industries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic proficiency is a bonus.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with colleagues from different functions including sales, support, and development teams.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve client issues efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support client needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management or a related industry.
  • Previous experience with demand planning and inventory optimization tools is an advantage.
