PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
As an Implementation Expert – Digital Payments, the ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end implementation and onboarding of commercial pay solutions for issuing banks, fintech partners, and corporate clients. You will function as the primary implementation lead, ensuring seamless integration of commercial payment products into client systems while aligning with business, compliance, and technical requirements.
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of commercial payment solutions including planning, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

Function as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, product teams, and issuing banks to ensure successful solution deployment.

Manage client onboarding and technical integration, including API integration, system configuration, and solution customization based on client requirements.

Coordinate implementation timelines, project milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and schedule.

Support clients with technical documentation, integration guidelines, and best practices.

Conduct solution workshops and technical sessions with client stakeholders including product, IT, operations, and finance teams.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve integration challenges, system dependencies, and operational issues during implementation.
Knowledge and Experience:

Strong understanding of commercial payment solutions, corporate cards, virtual cards, and B2B payment ecosystems.

8-10 year's experience with payment integrations, APIs, financial systems integration, and payment processing workflows.

Project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across technical and business teams.

Knowledge of payment networks, issuing/acquiring frameworks, and fintech ecosystem integrations.

Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical integration and implementation challenges.

Experience working with global clients, banks, fintech platforms, and corporate payment programs.
Mandatory Skills:

Previous experience within Banking, Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.

Regional experience across the GCC, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.
Preferred Skills:

Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, APIs, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.

An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
