Job Title: Import Clearance Agent

Location: Port Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Import Clearance Agent to manage and execute the end-to-end customs clearance process for import shipments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in dealing with customs documentation, the PSW system, and coordination with port authorities and shipping lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle import clearance procedures from document preparation to final delivery.
• File Goods Declarations (GD) through the PSW system and ensure timely clearance.
• Coordinate with custom agents, shipping lines, and terminal staff for smooth release of shipments.
• Calculate and verify custom duties, taxes, and tariffs as per FBR regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan Customs rules and import policies.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all import shipments and clearance documents.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to provide shipment updates.
• Manage inspection schedules and handle any clearance-related issues or discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain, or Business).
• 4–5 years of proven experience in import customs clearance (preferably in a Clearing & Forwarding or Logistics company).
• Strong knowledge of PSW / WeBOC system and import documentation.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Good understanding of HS codes, duty structures, and customs valuation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Qasim: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
