Job Summary:
The Import-Export Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating international trade activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, maintaining documentation, and optimizing logistics for the timely and cost-effective import and export of goods. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure smooth international operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import & Export Operations
- Handle all documentation for import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers for smooth shipment clearance.
- Ensure all import/export processes comply with national and international trade regulations.
- Track shipments and update stakeholders on shipment status, delays, or issues.
- Negotiate freight rates and transport arrangements to optimize costs and delivery times.
- Customs & Compliance
- Prepare and review customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Liaise with government authorities regarding import/export regulations, tariffs, and duties.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, trade agreements, and documentation requirements.
- Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with the procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to align shipping schedules and inventory needs.
- Communicate with overseas suppliers and customers to manage orders, documentation, and delivery schedules.
- Handle customer queries related to shipping, delivery timelines, and documentation.
- Reporting & Record Keeping
- Maintain proper records of import/export transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on shipping status, freight costs, and customs expenses.
- Assist in audits and inspections related to trade compliance.

Qualifications:
- Priority : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. In Additional Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Candidates from other background are also welcome.
- 1–2 years of experience in import/export operations or international logistics/Freshers are also welcome.
- Basic Knowledge of computer MS-Word, MS-Excel.
- English spoken is good/Good Communication.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
