Job Description:
- Handle end-to-end export and import operations
- Prepare and review export/import documentation such as invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, LC documents, and shipping bills
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, CHA, and transporters
- Ensure customs clearance for import and export shipments
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and customers
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies
- Manage DGFT, ICEGATE, and other government portals as required
- Handle duty calculations, HS code classification, and customs valuation
- Liaise with banks for Letter of Credit (LC), bank submissions, and export incentives
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation
- Resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies in documentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business, Logistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in EXIM operations or international trade
- Strong knowledge of export-import documentation and customs procedures
- Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and trade compliance
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office and EXIM-related software/systems
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with EPCG, Advance Authorization, or export incentive schemes
- Knowledge of international logistics and supply chain operations
