Brenntag Turkey is the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution. We are looking for a dynamic and detailed-oriented Import-Export Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end transportation organization (Road, Sea, Air) for both packed and bulk chemical raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport Operations: Manage and organize international transport operations (Road, Sea, and Air) for packed and bulk shipments based on incoming requests, ensuring timely delivery and process efficiency.
  • Road Transport Management: Monitor market conditions for road transport; manage tender processes to negotiate rates and service terms with carriers, particularly in high-volume regions, and organize annual freight agreements.
  • Sea Freight Tracking: Continuously track global sea freight trends and rates, providing regular updates to Product Management and Procurement teams to support cost-effective decision-making.
  • Cost Management & SAP: Accurately input freight cost forecasts into SAP. Verify incoming freight invoices against agreed rates and coordinate with the Accounting department for processing.
  • Claims & Insurance: Manage the insurance claim process for damaged cargo from initial application to final resolution. Prepare and present monthly KPI reports regarding damages and claims.
  • Optimization: Monitor international transport developments and actively seek alternative logistics solutions to minimize freight costs and improve efficiency.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with transport suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in International Transport operations (Road, Air, & Sea).
  • Solid knowledge of Import/Export regulations and general Logistics processes.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
