The Import & Export Responsible (f/m/d) takes ownership for the efficient and economical movement of goods (e.g., materials, products, equipment) in accordance with company policies and in compliance with relevant local, country and international customs laws and for the delivery process in ERP system. With responsibility for all aspects of Import/Export documentation defined by Turkish Customs, maintaining knowledge of and advising on legislative changes that impact current or potential future business procedures whilst supporting good governance, compliance & effective administration of the processes for HACH TURKEY.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for the for Import/ Export queries ensuring their timely response, working closely with the European Export Administration team and being the contact for customs broker
• Interface and support Sales & Service Administration and Logistics
• Deal with any delivery issues, working closely with the European Order Management team, ensuring all queries are fully resolved to satisfaction
• Place orders to order management department in Germany
• Prepare daily shipments in ERP system to customers according to their delivery date needs and stocks availability of the goods, when needed
• Arrange delivery of spare parts to Technical Service Team located all over Turkey

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Import/Export role and a degree from the related discipline or similar work experience
• Must be familiar with the legal requirements regarding importing and exporting shipments
• Understanding of the role of freight forwarders
• IT competency with good excel skills and preferably experienced in Logo Tiger use.
• (Business) Fluent in English & Turkish
