Import Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding Industry

Job Summary:

An Import Sales Executive is responsible for generating and managing import freight business by developing new clients, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and offering tailored logistics solutions. The role bridges commercial sales activities with operational coordination to ensure profitable, reliable, and customer-focused import services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new import business through client acquisition and market outreach

Promote import services (air, sea, and land freight) to potential customers

Prepare and negotiate freight quotations, rates, and service contracts

Coordinate with import operations teams to ensure smooth shipment execution

Maintain relationships with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents

Track sales leads, conversions, and revenue targets

Provide clients with shipment updates and post-shipment support

Ensure pricing accuracy and margin control in coordination with operations

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of import freight processes and Incoterms

Sales negotiation and customer relationship management skills

Market knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics services

Effective communication and client-handling abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
