For our location in Türkiye – Istanbul (Ataşehir), we are looking for an experienced and skilled “Import Specialist” who will be assisting the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Knowledge of import (plus, if possible, export)
• Strict monitoring and control of import documents and permits
• Familiarity with import documents (Authorized Economic Operator Certificate/AEO knowledge is a plus)
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (position involves frequent phone meetings)
• Use or familiarity with ERP systems, as well as utilization of various online portals (SF, CRM, etc.)
• Regular follow-up with customs consultants and shipping companies
• Regular tracking of open orders and those in customs
• Opening Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for orders with discrepancies and tracking Corrective Actions (CN)
• Tracking import orders, ranging from 35 to 45 per month
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in import
• Preferably from the chemical sector
• Experience with the import operations of international shipping companies is a plus
