Import & Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Import & Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead our international procurement and logistics operations. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the entire lifecycle of our products—from identifying and auditing international suppliers to ensuring final delivery at our local facilities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with 5-7 years of experience, possessing deep expertise in global sourcing, international trade finance, and the Odoo ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

1. International Sourcing & Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality international suppliers (primarily from China, UAE, and Europe).
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and quality standards to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Conduct regular vendor performance audits and maintain strong long-term relationships.

2. End-to-End Import Management:

• Manage the complete import cycle: from Proforma Invoice (PI) and LC Opening to Shipment Tracking and Customs Clearance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to optimize transit times and freight costs.
• Supervise customs clearing agents to ensure timely "Gate-Out" of consignments and minimize demurrages/detentions.

3. ERP & Documentation (Odoo Expert):

• Record and manage all import stages within Odoo, including Purchase Orders (PO), Landed Costs, and Inventory receipts.
• Ensure all digital records match physical shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Packing Lists, COAs).

4. Compliance & Financial Coordination:

• Ensure 100% compliance with Pakistan Customs (Weboc/PSW), SBP regulations, and International Trade Laws.
• Handle insurance claims and resolve discrepancies in shipment quantity or quality.
• Coordinate with the Finance department for timely retirement of bank documents and duty payments.

5. Strategic Reporting:

• Provide the CEO and stakeholders with "Landed Cost" analysis and lead-time forecasts.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA (International Business), or related field.
• Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience, specifically in Global Sourcing and Import Operations.
• ERP Mastery: Advanced hands-on experience in Odoo ERP (Purchasing, Inventory, and Accounting modules) is a must.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Incoterms (CIF, FOB, EXW), HS Codes, and Pakistan Customs Tariff.
• Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken) to negotiate with international vendors.
• Tools: Proficient in Excel for cost comparison and data analysis.

Office Location: DHA Phase 6, Lahore, Pakistan. Reporting to: CEO / Director Operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
