Overview:

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our dynamic team. As a Charging Systems Operator, you will be responsible for implementation and integration new charging systems nodes in our organization. Your role will involve monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the charging infrastructure to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the charging network.


Responsibilities:

  1. Charging Network Management :
  • Upgrade projects for charging system starting from solution submission, Impact analysis and following up on the project.
  • Launching the latest technology for data charging and Policy Control (ESY / Gx / Gy).
  • Integration and testing of new products in Etisalat network.
  • Prepare the requirements needed for network integration new Nodes (CCNs, SDPs, AIRs, SAPC,OCC,EMM,NGVS,OLM).
  • Troubleshoot all integration/installation/operation problems.


  1. Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for diverse workloads.
  2. Implement DevOps practices and automation through CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (laC), and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  3. User Support: Provide support to IN teams addressing their inquiries, troubleshooting charging problems, and guiding them on the proper workaround of the charging system.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze charging data, including SDP/AIR/OCC statistics . Prepare regular reports on system performance, utilization rates, and any maintenance or operational issues.
  5. System Upgrades and Expansion: Collaborate with the engineering and infrastructure teams to plan and implement system upgrades, expansion of charging infrastructure, and integration with new technologies.
  6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols. Implement and maintain best practices for safe charging operations.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including equipment manuals, service logs, and user feedback. Also prepare clear MOPs for all tasks and Update documentation and training materials as required.
  8. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including management, customer support, and maintenance teams, to address operational concerns, prioritize tasks, and provide timely updates.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree on engineering or computer science .
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with Unix/Linux systems (ITI fresh grads are allowed)
  • Strong Unix/Linux Skills: Proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and experience with network troubleshooting on Unix platforms.
  • Virtualization and Cloud: Experience with various AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, Cloud Formation, ECS/EKS, and Security services..
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proven expertise in implementing DevOps principles and automation tools.
