Job description:

Universal MH/DD/SAS is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional ( DSP) to provide Supportive Living Services in the Carrboro Area.

This position involves supporting an individual in their home and assisting with community outings and daily living activites.

Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Hours may be split into two shifts (4-5 hours each) depending on availability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive living services within the client's home
• Assist with community outings and activites
• provide supervision and support with daily living tasks
• Encourage independence and engagement in the community
• Complete required documentation

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation to assist with community outings
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation ( transportation is required for community outings)
• Ability to pass background check
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required

Location: Carrboro, NC
