In Home Caregiver

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping, organizing)
• Prepare light meals and assist with meal planning
• Run errands and assist with grocery shopping
• Provide medication reminders (no administering medications)
• Assist with appointment reminders
• Encourage engagement in hobbies and activities
• Maintain accurate daily activity documentation
• Follow client care plans and company policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous caregiving, homemaker, or companion experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background screening
• Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to perform light household tasks

Work Schedule

• Flexible scheduling
• Part-time and full-time opportunities available
• Some evenings or weekends may be required
