Qualities of a Care Advocate:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage
• Have a professional and friendly attitude

Core Job Duties:

• Build rapport with clients, engaging in conversation and providing companionship
• Assist clients with their prescribed health plan
• Assist with non-medical hygiene and personal care needs
• Monitor and report changes in physical and mental health behavior
• Ensure the client’s home is organized and safety measures are in place
• Provide emotional support and encouragement
• Assist with mobility needs
• Provide client with transportation

Job Type: Part time or PRN (as needed) in Ames, IA

Expected hours: 4 to 20 per week

License/Certification:

• Driver's License and Insured Car (Required)
