Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by delivering personalized care, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Prior experience in homecare or healthcare settings is required.

Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and basic social skills
• Support clients with specialized needs such as Autism, dementia care, memory care, and mobility care
• Provide compassionate care for individuals with developmental disabilities or those receiving hospice or palliative care
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques, infection control protocols, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient service and documentation

Qualifications

• Prior work in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of infection control, proper documentation and patient safety protocols such as HIPAA compliance
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages—including pediatrics—and healthcare professionals
• Certification in basic life support (BLS) or CPR is required; additional certifications such as certified nursing assistant and certified medical assistance are highly desirable
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus
