Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including geriatrics and inpatient care, and possess the skills necessary to support individuals with diverse healthcare needs. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Monitor and record vital signs and health changes, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress.

Qualifications

• Background in medical-surgical nursing or inpatient care is beneficial.
• Teaching hospital experience will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of post-acute care, outpatient services, clinic experience, and sub-acute care practices is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential.

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
