Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance mental well-being.
• Monitor and report on clients’ health status, including changes in behavior or physical condition, ensuring timely communication with family members or healthcare professionals.
• Medication reminders or assistance as prescribed, following all safety protocols.
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, including observations and any incidents or concerns.
• Follow all safety guidelines and care plans to ensure a secure environment for clients at all times.

Experience

• Prior experience providing in-home or personal care services is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical-surgical care practices and post-acute care procedures enhances your ability to deliver exceptional support.
• Experience working with elderly populations or those requiring geriatrics-focused care is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teaching hospital environments or outpatient settings reflects adaptability and professionalism.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
