Job Offer – Direct Support Staff

We are currently hiring a reliable and compassionate Direct Support Staff/PCA to provide care for a minor client in the client’s home. This role requires someone who is patient, responsible, and comfortable working in a structured home care environment with a child who needs daily support.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Weekend shifts rotate weekly between staff, meaning one caregiver works one weekend, and another covers the following weekend.

Job Duties Include:

• Providing direct care, supervision, and support for a minor client in the client’s home
• Assisting with daily routines and personal care needs
• Interacting positively, respectfully, and consistently with the client throughout the shift
• Supporting medical needs as required, including:
• G-tube feeding and care
• Hoyer lift transfers
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
• Following care plans accurately and documenting services provided
• Communicating effectively with the care team and family

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working with a minor (child client) in a home setting
• Willingness to complete required online training before starting
• Must complete additional hands-on training as provided
• Must be able to obtain a TB test prior to starting work
• Experience with G-tubes and Hoyer lifts preferred, but training can be provided
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
• Must be willing to engage and interact appropriately with the client during care

Pay: $20.00 per hour
