In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Monday thru Friday 1pm - 6pm
• Saturday 8am - 3pm
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure timely intervention and communication with healthcare professionals.
• Prepare meals
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
• Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia
• Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in accordance with healthcare standards. Via app
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment to promote overall well-being.

Skills

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior dementia care.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
• Familiarity with care plans, patient monitoring techniques, and working within HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and security of health information.
• Compassionate attitude combined with patience and ambition.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
