Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly.
• Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs tailored to their dietary requirements.
• Help clients stay engaged through recreational activities, hobbies, or outings as appropriate.
• Follow care plans meticulously, ensuring all services are delivered safely and respectfully.

Experience

• Prior experience working as an in-home caregiver or in a similar personal care role is preferred.
• Experience supporting clients with geriatrics or post-acute care needs is highly valued.
• Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures, outpatient and clinic settings enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive care.
• Inpatient and sub-acute care experience supports delivering consistent, high-quality support in various settings.
• Certification or training related to geriatrics, post-acute care, or outpatient services is advantageous for providing specialized assistance. Pay: $17.44 - $28.23 per hour
