Responsibilities

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a safe living environment
• Support meal preparation and basic nutrition needs according to client preferences
• Assist with errands such as grocery shopping and picking up household supplies
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate levels of support
• Offer companionship and engage the client in conversation or simple activities to reduce isolation

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous caregiving, homemaking, or direct support experience preferred but not required
• Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS background study
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation required
