We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN In-Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to veterans in their own home. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, meal preparation, feeding assistance, medication reminders, mobility assistance, errands/shopping, light housekeeping, and surgery recovery.

Essential Job Duties

The ideal candidate is capable, motivated, and willing to learn and grow as the position evolves. As an In-Home Caregiver, you must be able to:

Tend to clients’ social and emotional needs by joining them in activities and providing companionship

Support mobility (help with walking, transfers or use mobility aids)

Take clients to their medical appointments or personal errands

Provide Medication reminders

Prepare meals, do laundry and perform light housework

Assist with daily living tasks, such as dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming and eating

Identify and address safety issues in the home or facility

Keep accurate records of care provided

Disclaimer

Employee hours are not guaranteed and will vary. Employees may accept or decline offered shifts based on their availability. In order to remain active in the agency's system, the employee must work at least one shift per month. Employees are eligible to move back to an active status should they wish to pick up a shift. PRN employees are generally not eligible for Agency benefits.
