Caregiver- Caring Hands

Caring Hands Dayhab provides day services for adults with a wide range of intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are in search of a reliable, patient, and compassionate full-time staff available to work 8:30am- 4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Caring Hands Dayhab’s location is in Aubrey, TX (HWY 380 near providence village). If you enjoy purposeful work and helping to improve the lives of others, then you will want to join our team as a caregiver! No CNA (Certified Nursing Assisted Living) license is required.

Job Duties

• Personal hygiene, restroom assistance, check and change
• Monitoring and Reporting health concerns to supervisor
• Following specialized diets, meal prep, service of meal and meal supervision
• Laundry, light house keeping
• Oversee care, health, and safety of individuals
• Clocking clients in/out from Dayhab and Therapies provided, Complete all required paperwork
• Creativity in creating trainings and activities to promote individual growth or maintenance, engagement, daily living, and social skills.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently
• Interest in working with IDD Individuals
• Compassionate spirit and positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Following individual care plans and documentation

Caring Hands is a licensed ISS on-site and off-site provider that focuses on promoting independence and consumer choice.
