In-Home Caregiver/PSS

Aging Excellence is actively seeking compassionate, reliable, and committed caregivers to assist our clients in the Greater Bangor region. We have a current need for all hours, in particular weekend availability and overnight coverage.

Duties include, but are not limited to: light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, laundry, and transportation. Our personal support specialists assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, as well as other basic grooming needs. Aging Excellence also offers handyman services...those who are proficient with minor home repairs are strongly encouraged to apply.

PSS certification or equivalent is preferred but we offer free PSS certification training after 30 days of employment. We strongly consider life experiences from all backgrounds in our hiring process. All candidates must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Aging Excellence offers a starting pay of $18.00/Hr. with a $2.00/Hr. weekend differential. We offer paid time off for all employees as well as a 401k matching program.
