In-Home Daycare Substitute/ Assistant Childcare Provider

I'm in need of a substitute caregiver with availability on to work one day/ week on Fridays for an in-home daycare in Heartland, TX.

Are you passionate about working with children and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment? Little Blossoms Child Care is seeking a dependable and caring Substitute / Assistant Caregiver to join our team.

Minimum Requirements (per Texas State Regulations):

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of required orientation training
• Ability to pass state background checks
• Current Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Our Program Requirements:

• Previous childcare experience preferred
• Basic understanding of child development
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Works productively without direct supervision

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for children age 12 months- 12 years old
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans from our curriculum
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through active engagement
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment
• Supervise children and provide individualized support to foster a sense of belonging
• Communicate with families regarding daily activities and child progress
• Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Support daily routines and tasks to promote a nurturing environment.
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the daycare space.
• Other duties as assigned
