The Opportunity

Are you a high-level operator who loves animals as much as you love a perfectly executed plan? Dan’s Pet Care—the North Shore’s #1 pet care provider and 2021’s Pet Sitter of the Year—is looking for an In-Home Services Manager to lead our elite field team.

With 3,500+ clients and a massive social media following (230k+ on YouTube!), we’ve set the gold standard for pet care. As our In-Home Services Manager, you are the conductor of this symphony. You will oversee daily scheduling, optimize operational flow, and mentor a dedicated team of specialists to ensure every pet receives a "5-star" experience.

What You’ll Do (The Impact)

• Master the Schedule: Use cutting-edge GPS technology and scheduling software to coordinate seamless pet care visits across the North Shore of Long Island.
• Lead the Pack: Mentor, manage, and inspire our team of Assistant Managers and Pet Care Specialists. You’ll be responsible for staff coordination, quality control, and ensuring our core values are met in the field.
• Elevate the Experience: Act as a bridge between our clients and our team, solving complex puzzles in real-time to ensure every pet parent feels at ease.
• Raise the Bar: Work directly with the senior management team to hit quarterly growth goals and innovate our service standards.
• Be a Player-Coach: While this is a leadership role, you aren’t afraid to leash up! You’ll occasionally be in the field, handling dogs of all sizes (yes, even the 90lb "gentle giants") and ensuring medical protocols are followed perfectly.

Who You Are

• An Experienced Leader: You have 3–5 years of management experience, ideally in logistics, operations, or high-volume service industries.
• A Problem-Solving Pro: You stay calm when the puzzle pieces move. You can pivot quickly and communicate clearly under pressure.
• Obsessed with Excellence: You have a keen eye for detail and a "Best of Long Island" work ethic.
• Animal-First: You have professional experience with animals and a genuine love for dogs of all temperaments.
• Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable navigating smartphones, scheduling apps, and billing systems.

The Requirements

• Flexibility: Our clients rely on us 365 days a year. You should have an open schedule, including evenings and holidays.
• Mobility: A valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle are required to support our staff across our service territory.
• Experience: 3+ years of team leadership is required.
