In-Home: Summer Pre-K Nanny

In-Home Summer Nanny / Caregiver for 4-Year-Old

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
Dates: June 8 – July 31
Pay: $18/hour

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and engaging in-home nanny/caregiver for our 4-year-old during the summer. We are looking for someone who enjoys being active, creative, and hands-on, and who can create a fun, structured, low-screen-time environment throughout the day.

Please note that mom will be home during working hours, but she will be working and unavailable for regular daytime caregiving. The caregiver will be fully responsible for childcare during the 11:00 AM–5:00 PM shift. Mom will be available in the event of an emergency. No outings or field trips outside the home should take place without prior permission and involvement from mom.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, in-home care for our 4-year-old
• Keep TV/screen time to an absolute minimum
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities each week
• Spend time outdoors at home
• Support indoor learning activities, creative play, arts and crafts, dancing, singing, and hands-on engagement
• Bring fresh activity ideas and help keep the days fun, interactive, and enriching
• Prepare lunch for our child using groceries we provide
• Clean up toys and activity materials at the end of the day
• Light end-of-day tidying, including vacuuming play areas used during the shift

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced caring for preschool-aged childrent

Requirements

• Must pass a background check
• Must be willing to complete fingerprinting
• Prior childcare experience strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality
• Warm, patient, energetic, and dependable
• Does not resort to yelling or hitting for behavior management.
• Comfortable creating structure and planning engaging daily activities
• Enjoys outdoor play, movement, music, art, and early learning
• Nonsmoker
• Comfortable with dogs
• Able to maintain a safe, clean, and positive environmen

We are looking for someone who will be a positive, active presence in our child’s day and who values play, creativity, and learning over screen time.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
