In-Home Tutor

Teach an 8-year-old with ADHD and ODD to read at the Jan Platt library, 3910 S Manhattan Ave, Tampa, FL 33611

They are available Monday - Fridays from 2:30 to 6pm and weekends

2-60 min sessions a week per student.

Looking for Candidates with Orton-Gillingham certifications and experience. Elementary Ed., English, Math, Special Education, Communication, literacy, SLP, Science of Reading Knowledge a must!

Prefer college of Education or Special Needs candidates with some student contact experience.

Must have a bachleors degree in English, Elementary Ed, Secondary Ed, Special Education or a bachelor's out of field with Orton Gillingham certification.

Effectively communicate with parents and the tutoring center as needed. Take attendance in a tutoring portal after each session.

This is a contract position- you will get an independent contractor's agreement and 1099 in Jan 2027.
