What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive legal guidance on laws in regard to healthcare
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to safeguard the organization’s interests.
• Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents with precision, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage litigation processes and collaborate with external counsel when necessary.
• Advise on securities law matters and workers' compensation law to mitigate risks.
• Stay updated on tribal laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all operations.
• Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with various departments to address legal concerns.

Basic qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in relevant jurisdictions.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in healthcare law or strong interest to learn and grow
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with legal administrative processes and office management.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
• Proven ability to conduct detailed legal research efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
