In-House Counsel Insurance Defense Attorney (100% REMOTE)

Distinguished, interstate Commercial Auto Insurance Carrier is looking for an experienced GEORGIA TRUCKING OR AUTO ACCIDENT Litigation Attorney (Plaintiff's or Defense) to join their team as IN-HOUSE COUNSEL (there are NO billable hours!).

100% REMOTE POSITION BUT MUST LIVE WITHIN 2 HOURS OF ATLANTA, GA.

Should have substantial experience with GA Bodily Injury Defense or Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases, namely Trucking Accidents and/or Motor Vehicle Accidents. We handle the defense of trucking accidents involving high-limit policies.

***IDEAL Candidates have 5 + years experience in GA Trucking or Auto Accident Defense Litigation and/or other substantial experience with auto accident defense in GA, with experience working up a large volume of trucking and/or car accident cases through trial.***

DUTIES: reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, deposition prep, depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials client phone calls, and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same.
