Inatallation Manager(Events & Exhibitions Industry Only)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Installation Manager to oversee on-site installation activities for exhibitions and events. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid UAE experience, and hands-on expertise in managing installation teams, logistics coordination, and on-site execution within the events and exhibitions industry.

This role is essential to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Installation Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand installation requirements
  • Prepare logistics tickets for transportation of materials and equipment
  • Ensure required team badges (e.g., DWTC) are arranged before installations
  • Prepare task lists and allocate resources for installation teams
  • Ensure tools and equipment are available, functional, and site-ready

On-Site Installation Management

  • Develop and implement installation checklists
  • Verify receipt and readiness of all materials prior to installation
  • Supervise installation teams and ensure proper PPE, uniforms, and site conduct
  • Organize workflow to meet project specifications and deadlines
  • Monitor installation progress and resolve issues proactively

Resource & Team Management

  • Determine manpower, materials, and equipment requirements per project
  • Coordinate carpenters, painters, welders, and technical staff
  • Schedule team activities and ensure alignment with project timelines
  • Support performance monitoring and on-site problem resolution

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure installations meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Enforce health and safety regulations at all sites
  • Maintain a safe, professional working environment

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular progress updates to management
  • Report challenges, risks, and site issues affecting delivery
  • Highlight missing or unclear project details that may impact execution

Training & Development

  • Arrange periodic training for installation staff
  • Support skill development in carpentry, painting, welding, and assembly

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial role within the events & exhibitions industry
  • Strong background in installation and on-site management
  • Mandatory UAE experience
  • ERP system experience is required

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency in project management tools and ERP systems
  • Solid knowledge of installation safety standards

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
