Inbound Sales Representative (High-Ticket, Mission Driven, Mental Health)

Our most recent sales rep hired to the team had 4 calls on her calendar within her first 24 hours of being onboarded – and closed her first one on the same day.

We have a lead engine that works. We need a closer who can match it.

Who We Are:

Zen Psychiatry is an online education company that operates a high-level, results-driven coaching program called Dream Practice Academy for psychiatric providers looking to learn integrative psychiatry and build values-aligned private practices, and we are effectively a category of one in this space.

We help psychiatrists and PMHNPs leave institutional employment, build independent practices, and reclaim their clinical autonomy. Our founder is a Harvard / USC / UCLA trained integrative psychiatrist, and we're one of the only companies operating at this intersection of clinical credibility and high-performance business coaching.

This is not a struggling offer or a “figure it out” sales role.

These are warm, pre-qualified leads actively seeking help (not cold outreach).

You’ll be working with a high-integrity company that genuinely cares about client outcomes — and expects high performance from its team.

About The Role:

We've built a strong, consistent inbound lead machine and are now scaling aggressively. That means we are expanding our sales team with high-integrity closers who want to be part of something real and not just fill a seat on a call queue.

This is not a transactional role. Our average deal is ~$25,000, prospects are emotionally intelligent high-achievers, and the sale is a genuine life decision. The rep who wins here combines commercial instinct with human depth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Take qualified, pre-booked Zoom calls with motivated, mission-driven clinicians (appointments are set for you, no prospecting)
  • Guide prospects through a thoughtful, consultative close across 1-3 conversations (a follow up call or two is often required to close)
  • Handle objections with directly and with confidence
  • Execute high-quality follow-up via email, SMS, and voice notes
  • Track pipeline and maintain clean CRM notes
  • Initiate onboarding for closed clients

Your job is to convert aligned prospects into committed clients through trust, emotional intelligence, and consultative selling.

You’re A Fit If:

  • You have 2+ years of high-ticket or commission-based sales experience (coaching, online education, solar, finance, insurance, or similar)
  • ​​You can cite real numbers (close rates, revenue generated, deal volume) – not just tell us you're a strong closer
  • You're organized, autonomous, and don't need a manager in your ear to perform
  • You're drawn to mission-driven work and want to be genuinely proud to tell people what you sell
  • You're U.S.-based or working on a North American time zone
  • Experience in mental health, healthcare, or wellness is a big plus as well as experience working in a small, founder-led environment

Schedule & Structure

This is a fractional, flexible role with autonomy over your calendar.

  • You will set your own availability on our sales calendar.
  • We offer same-day booking with a 2-hour lead time, so you must be comfortable with dynamic scheduling within your available hours.
  • Speed-to-lead matters.
  • Most prospects require a follow up call (or two) to close, so you must have enough availability to schedule timely follow-ups (often within 24–72 hours).

This role starts fractional — and for the right person, it doesn't have to stay that way. We promote from within, and we will need strong performers in senior roles as we grow. If you outperform and a deeper commitment makes sense for both sides, that conversation is on the table.

Time Commitment & Call Volume:

Expect ~10–15 calls/week plus ~2–3 hours of flexible admin/team meetings.

Top performers who demonstrate strong close rates and excellent prospect experience will be prioritized for additional call volume.

Our average close rate is ~30–35% on qualified show ups.

Compensation & Earnings Potential:

  • 6% commission per closed client ($1500 per sale for our $25k offer) paid on expected revenue (we pay your commission before we collect the cash) with 60 day claw back only if the client defaults within the first 60 days (rare)
  • OR will consider 8% commission on cash collected if preferred by the rep
  • At current performance benchmarks, this equates to ~$5,000–$8,000/month on ~10-15 calls/week

  • Reference check
