Job Summary:

The Inbound Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods and materials. This role ensures that all inbound processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with company standards. The supervisor manages a team of warehouse associates, ensures proper documentation and inventory control, and collaborates with other departments to maintain smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all inbound activities including receiving, unloading, sorting, and stocking of products.
• Ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming shipments.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and invoices.
• Schedule and manage inbound staffing to meet workload demands.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Train, coach, and evaluate inbound team members to ensure performance and compliance.
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding shipment status and discrepancies.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and accurate inventory updates.
• Generate and review daily/weekly reports on inbound performance and KPIs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inbound operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse management software
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
