Responsibility

Supervisor is responsible for the managing staff , overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures , She / he is charged with assigning staff and monitoring the activities and to help in recruiting processing and promotion and train new personnel .

Job Description

  • Ensure nursing is practiced in accordance with professional values and moral principles and maintains confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Ensure performance of nursing practice remains in line with the facility, hospital policies, procedures and standards.
  • Directs, supervises and evaluates the activities of Patient care and clinical.
  • Assure the quality of nursing care.
  • Identifies and resolves administrative problems by direct intervention or by notification of appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborates with doctors, specialists, Nurse Managers and other administrative personnel or department to solve patient’s problems.
  • Perform regular rounds and reporting to GM Nursing.
  • Acts as a role model to enhance the professional nursing image and acts as an advocate for patients and staff.
  • Investigates and evaluates reports of unusual occurrence, takes timely and appropriate action including completion of necessary documentation, and notifies the concerned department Nurse Manager and GM nursing as well.
  • Participates in Nursing Continuous quality Improvement initiatives, in – service education programs and recommendation of appraisal and for the promotion
  • Acts as a leader to encourage all staff personnel.
  • Initiates any emergency safety practices .
  • Maintain appropriate nursing competencies .
  • Make a check list of new admission, posted for surgery, post surgery, brief séances about hospital and availability of beds in each department , Pending consultation ,Discharge patient and any notified incidents in his /her assigned shifts and give hand over.
  • Handling capability of all life saving equipment, and for the procedures.
  • Audits the patient’s medical record to determine that all orders have been carried out, that laboratory tests are posted, delivered nursing care is documented, and patient progress or lack of progress is described.
  • Supervising nursing staff and monitoring their needs.
  • Address patient complaints in a timely and ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Monitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in clients' conditions Observes nurses and visits clients to ensure that proper nursing care is provided
  • Ensure proper cleanliness of the area.
  • Knows the rights and responsibilities of all nursing staff members.
  • Utilizes the talents of all members of the nursing staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
