Key Responsibilities

• Daily Auditing and Verification: Prepare and review daily financial reports, daily revenue reports, and food & beverage reports. This includes spot-checking room rates and prices charged.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile income and expenditure data from various systems (e.g., Point of Sale and Property Management Systems) to the general ledger, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or variances.
• Cash and Credit Card Handling: Audit daily cash summaries, update the general cashier's report, and verify validated bank slips. They also process and reconcile credit card transfers and chargebacks.
• Reporting: Prepare and distribute various daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
• Compliance and Control: Ensure all discounts, rebates, and adjustments to revenue are properly documented and approved by authorized management. They also conduct surprise float counts of cash holders periodically.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Front Office, F&B, Sales) to resolve issues and ensure consistent application of company financial policies.
