The Role

As an Income / Accounts Receivable, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring the accurate recording, reconciliation, and monitoring of hotel revenues and receivables. You will be responsible for verifying daily revenue transactions, preparing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, and supporting the smooth operation of all financial processes related to income and receivables.

This role is responsible for ensuring that all financial affairs of the hotel are conducted to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and compliance. High ethical standards are necessary to maintain both competitive advantage and the pride and confidence of our associates while delivering quality products and services to our guests and clients.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As an Income / Accounts Receivable, you will need to:

• Verify and reconcile daily hotel revenues from all operating departments.
• Ensure all revenue transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Collect, review, and process all guest folios and supporting documents received from Front Office and operational departments.
• Prepare invoices and statements for companies, travel agents, and other debtors in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Generate and review daily revenue reports and monthly accounts receivable aging reports.
• Reconcile accounts receivable statements and investigate any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the Credit Department regarding collections, payment follow-ups, and account status updates.
• Ensure all supporting documents and financial records are properly filed and maintained for audit purposes.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to income auditing and receivables.
• Report delayed payments, discrepancies, or irregularities to the Financial Controller promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit requirements when necessary.
• Perform any additional duties as required to ensure operational smoothness and financial accuracy.
