We are looking for an experienced Independent Liability Claims Adjuster to handle a variety of third-party liability claims, including general liability, premises liability, and bodily injury. The ideal candidate will have a strong investigative mindset, legal acumen, and the ability to assess risk and exposure with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Investigations: Interview claimants, insureds, witnesses, and professionals to gather critical facts about the incident.

Review LiabilityNegligence: Analyze incident reports, contracts, statutes, and case law to determine legal liability and comparative fault.

Evaluate Damages: Assess bodily injury, property damage, or economic loss claims using medical records, expert reports, and economic data.

Ability to Set ReservesMake Recommendations: Accurately assess exposure and recommend settlements or denials within authority limits.

Negotiate Settlements: Collaborate with attorneys, injured parties, or third-party representatives to reach fair and timely resolutions.

Prepare Detailed Reports: Submit clear, concise, and comprehensive claim summaries, evaluations, and recommendations.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in liability or casualty claims adjusting

In-depth knowledge of tort law, negligence, and claims handling practices

Strong analytical, negotiation, and report-writing skills

Ability to handle sensitive claims with professionalism and discretion

Licensed adjuster (or willing to become licensed) in applicable states
