Independent Medical Courier Contractor

Overview
We are seeking reliable and experienced Independent Courier Contractors to join our delivery team. This role involves providing efficient and professional delivery services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining timely route execution. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in customer service, commercial driving, and warehouse operations, with the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to complete scheduled deliveries.
• Load and unload packages using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Route driving to deliver parcels efficiently across designated areas while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages promptly and professionally, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required to load or unload items safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each shipment.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is a plus.
• Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving packages.
• Experience with forklift or pallet jack operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as an contractor with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. This role offers the flexibility of independent contracting while playing a vital part in our logistics network through efficient route management and exceptional service delivery.

Pay: $21.54 - $25.94 per hour

Work Location: In person
