This is an opportunity for an independent sales contractor that wants to be grounded in essential sales concepts, practices, and techniques. The contractor will be responsible for selling IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- The primary goal is to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for the ERP product suite.
- Proactively identify and research potential client businesses (target industries, company size, etc.).
- Generate new leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.
- Analyze client business processes and needs to determine if an ERP solution is a good fit.
- The sales territory covered by contractor shall include Pakistan and international markets (Europe/USA )
Sales Cycle Management:
- Manage the entire complex sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through negotiation and contract closing.
- Arrange and lead initial discovery meetings and high-level presentations to C-level executives and key stakeholders (CFO, CIO, Operations Managers).
- Work with internal pre-sales or technical teams to coordinate and deliver product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Market and Product Expertise:
- Maintain an in-depth, expert-level knowledge of the ERP product's features, functionality, and integration capabilities (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing modules).
- Stay current on ERP market trends, competitive products, industry regulations, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven, successful experience (e.g., 3+ years) in B2B, complex software sales, preferably selling ERP, CRM, or other enterprise-level business applications.
- ERP Knowledge: Strong understanding of core business processes (finance, inventory, manufacturing, human resources) and how an ERP system supports them.
- Sales Acumen: Expertise in consultative, value-based selling methodologies with experience managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical and financial concepts to executive audiences.
- Independent & Self-Motivated: High degree of independence, self-motivation, and discipline to manage a remote territory and meet ambitious sales targets without direct supervision.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills for high-value contracts.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with any major CRM software such as SAP,Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Office Suite , and basic knowledge of cloud computing and software integration.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Typically this often means a high commission percentage on the total license and/or initial services sale.
