The job

India is one of our largest and fastest growing countries. Growing our business is one of our strategic priorities. To deliver this, we are hiring an ambitious COO who will have the following responsibilities;

Growth
Manage a growth team of c30 people to deliver the annual growth target. For 2026 this is to sign deals for 200 new centres, which will be done through partnerships, M&A, Roll-ins and other deal types.
Centre Openings (& Closures)
New Centre Openings and Roll-ins - Own the NCO pipeline - ensure new centres are properly designed, have the right brand, are delivered on time, ready to sell and meet our standards at the lowest possible cost.
Supply Chain: make sure we have the right manufacturers and products in place and the ability to deliver projects end to end with a panel of General Contractors, with agreed rates.
Refurbishments: Ensure there is a centre refurbishment plan (2 years in advance) and that projects are properly designed, delivered on time, to budget and in line with our standards
Closures: Ensure any closures are properly planned in advance and properly executed (customer retention maximized, re-usable assets retained, cost of closure minimized subject to deposit return and removal of fit-out potentially usable by competitors)
Project Managers: Line management of any Project Managers based in your country
Partner Management
Partner interface: Point of contact for management agreement partners (single point of contact into the organization) and for ensuring partner issues get resolved
Partner review meetings: Ensure regular reviews of performance of MA centres are undertaken with the partner (either by Partner Performance Managers, Area Directors / City Managers) collect their feedback and channel it to your country manager
Quality control: Ensure that Area Directors / City Managers are quality checking partner centres (in addition to company owned ones)
Partnership performance managers: Line management of any Partnership Performance Managers based in your country.
The Candidate

We are looking for a bright, ambitious, and driven individual with a strong track record of delivering outstanding results. You will bring commercial acumen gained in a fast-paced, International, matrix organisation with a high level of ambiguity. Experience of having worked in a leading management consultancy would be a distinct advantage.

Key experience and skills we are looking for include;

Graduate with a minimum of a degree and, ideally, post-graduate education, from a top-tier institution.
Trained in a consultancy or post-graduate corporate programme, within a fast-paced organisation.
Experience in a highly commercial role, used to delivering results against monthly targets.
Outstanding track record of success. You will have outperformed your peer group in business, academia and one of sport, music, entrepreneurship, or another extra-curricular activity.
Ability to successfully influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Highly driven to succeed.
Ambitious with future development potential.
Strong leadership skills having previously led large teams to achieve targets.
Combines a hands-on approach to leadership and delivering sales targets with the ability to think strategically.
