Indian/Western Dance Teacher

Role Overview

GD Goenka World School is seeking a passionate and skilled Indian & Western Dance Teacher to inspire students through structured, engaging, and age-appropriate dance education. The teacher will be responsible for nurturing creativity, discipline, and performance skills while aligning with the school’s holistic learning philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality dance instruction in Indian and Western dance forms as per the school curriculum.
• Train students for school events, assemblies, competitions, and annual productions.
• Foster students’ physical fitness, rhythm, coordination, and creative expression.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different age groups and learning abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and inclusivity during dance sessions.
• Collaborate with academic and cultural teams for inter-school and intra-school activities.
• Participate in school events, rehearsals, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Ensure proper care and usage of dance equipment and practice spaces.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Dance or relevant certification in Indian and Western dance forms.
• Prior teaching experience in a school or reputed institution preferred.
• Strong knowledge of choreography, rhythm, and performance techniques.
• Ability to train students for stage performances and competitions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
