Indirect Buyer Lead - Supply Chain Analyst

Eaton’s GEIS division is currently seeking a Indirect Buyer Lead - Supply Chain Analyst. This role is onsite at our Syracuse, NY facility. Relocation is not provided for this position.

This Indirect Buyer Lead role is responsible for managing onsite purchasing functions, including the timely release of purchase orders and the negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms for indirect production materials. This role leads sourcing efforts for RHQ indirect commodity initiatives and new projects, manages AVL & TAIL suppliers, and supports cost control, supplier performance, and working capital improvement.

Key responsibilities include utilizing SAP to research material availability and generate requisitions. While the primary focus (80–90%) is on indirect purchasing for the Syracuse manufacturing site, this role also supports procurement for the Global and North America GEIS administrative teams (10–20%).

As part of a development path, this position is designed to evolve into a support role for Supply Chain Analytics, offering a built-in opportunity for career growth.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
