Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced INDIRECT IT SOFTWARE PROCUREMENT MANAGER to oversee the strategic sourcing and procurement of software solutions across the organization. This role involves managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of IT software that aligns with company goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, supply chain management, and IT sourcing, with proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle. This position offers an opportunity to lead critical procurement initiatives that support our technological infrastructure and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for indirect IT software to optimize cost-efficiency and quality.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential vendors and stay informed about industry trends.
• Manage end-to-end contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, supply chain, legal, and finance to align procurement activities with business needs.
• Oversee vendor management processes, including performance evaluation, relationship building, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records within ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle; ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Monitor supply chain activities related to software licensing, renewals, and compliance requirements.
• Lead supplier evaluations and manage ongoing supplier relationships to ensure service levels meet organizational standards.
• Ensure adherence to information security standards during procurement processes to protect company assets.
• Manage budgets related to IT software procurement, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, contract management, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with market research techniques relevant to technology products and services.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure components including software licensing, security protocols, and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus. This role is integral to maintaining our organization’s technological agility through effective procurement practices that support our business growth and operational excellence.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
